In the village of La Roche Vineuse, Sylvaine and Alain Normand produce some of the best red and white wines in the Mâcon region: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint Véran, Mâcon La Roche Vineuse and Bourgogne.
In 2010, the Domaine’s vineyards increased in size considerably, going from 13 to 32 hectares, spread over the districts of Solutré, Chaintré, Prissé and La Roche Vineuse.

Sylvaine and Alain Normand’s Domaine is located in La Roche Vineuse, a village in the Mâcon region that nestles in a valley not far from the famous ‘Roches’ (Rocks) of Solutré and Vergisson. Here, lay the foundations of exceptional terroirs, which have given birth to South Burgundy’s most prestigious wines for generations.

Sylvaine and Alain Normand cultivate their vines in an environmentally friendly manner.
This winemaking couple grow their grapes, respect the terroir, and make their wines as naturally as possible, on their lees.
We don’t wish to dominate Nature, we work with her, so that she gives of her very best, which of course we then capture!

Sylvaine and Alain Normand have no preconceptions or entrenched beliefs about wine. They use their creativity to bring you a fresh interpretation of the typical characteristics of the internationally acclaimed Mâcon appellation wines.
The vintages are aged in tanks to create well-balanced, fruity wines, and in barrels to develop complex wines for laying down.
